The pre-filter is a special F6 filter suitable for fine dust, in the Profi-line the pre-filter is equipped with a tear-off closure. All dirt particles that are harmful to the activated carbon are retained. With this system, the life of the activated charcoal filter is extended. Since the dirt retained with this system is greater than with normal filters, it is very important that the pre-filter is changed regularly.
